Check it yourself. No account, and no call to us.
Every decision in HONESTAS is sealed into a record with an outside time stamp. Anyone you give it to can check that it has not changed by a single character since it was signed, with any verifier they choose.

Here is a sealed decision. Change one character.
This is a sample claim record. Press Check, then edit the amount, the name or a single full stop and check again. Nothing is sent anywhere. The check runs in your browser.
The seal is a fingerprint of the exact text. HONESTAS works it out when the record is signed and has it time-stamped outside your installation, so a changed copy can never pass as the original.
You can edit this text. Try changing the amount.
One file that carries the decisions, and says what it does not prove.
A Decision Passport bundles sealed records into one file you can hand to a reinsurer, an auditor, a regulator or the Financial Services and Pensions Ombudsman. It is printed in six parts, always in this order.
- Records
- The records it carries. Each decision, when it was sealed and its seal.
- Evidence
- The evidence they rest on. Every paper and photograph, with its source, date and fingerprint.
- Pins
- What they are pinned to. The tables, assumptions and wordings at the version in force.
- Support
- What the evidence supports. Each possible outcome, worked out as an exact share.
- Verifier
- Who worked it out. A verifier outside your firm signs its report with its own key.
- Limits
- What it does not say. That the decision was right, how good anyone is, or that the tables are fair.

A verifier reads the file. It never asks us.
The record format is open and published, so any verifier can read it: ours, your auditor's, or one your own engineers write.
- Fingerprints
The verifier works out each record's fingerprint from the file itself and compares it with the seal.
- Time stamp
It checks the outside time stamp, so nobody can claim a record was sealed earlier or later than it was.
- Countersigned
It checks the countersignatures from witnesses outside your firm and outside Adverant.
- Verdict
It says one of three things: the record holds, it has changed, or it holds but a version it used has since been replaced.

The starting table has a newer version. These records still show what was decided under the old one.
Send it with a link. Print it with a QR code.
A record link opens one passport for the people you name, for as long as you choose. The same link is printed as a QR code on letters and settlement statements, so a customer can check theirs on a phone.
- The fingerprint sits after the "#" in the link, so it never leaves the reader's phone
- A link can expire and can be withdrawn; the passport itself never changes
- A changed passport is a new one, with its own number
- Every opening is recorded against the link, not the reader's device

About checking a record.
What does a passing check prove?
That the record is exactly the one that was signed, and that it was sealed when it says. It does not prove the decision was right. The passport says so in its own words, in its last part.
What if a paper arrives after someone signs?
HONESTAS holds the seal and asks the signer to look again, because their signature no longer covers everything in the record. Once they sign again, the record is sealed with the new paper in it.
What happens when a wording or rate table changes later?
The record stays a true account of what was decided under the version in force. A verifier marks it as holding, with a newer version available. Deciding again opens a new record, linked to the old one.
Can we use our own verifier?
Yes. The record format and the checks are published, so your own team or your auditor can build one. Our verifier is one of several that read the same file.
Is the text on this page sent anywhere?
No. The fingerprint is worked out in your browser. Close the page and nothing is kept.

Seal one of your own decisions.
Bring a claim or a quote. We will argue it, sign it and seal it, then hand you the passport to check.
