Terms

The rules for using this website, and the main terms of the HONESTAS service, written so you can read them without a lawyer. Your signed agreement with Adverant always comes first.

Last updated 23 October 2026

In short. Use this site lawfully and do not try to break it. The HONESTAS service is governed by the agreement your organisation signs with Adverant; this page summarises its main terms and does not replace it. Your data and your sealed records stay yours, and you can take them with you at any time. We do not promise any regulatory outcome. Irish law applies.

Who we are

This website and the HONESTAS service are provided by Adverant Limited, a company registered in Ireland and based in Dublin (“Adverant”, “we”, “us”). By using honestas.ai you agree to the terms on this page that apply to the website.

Your agreement comes first

Use of HONESTAS, its apps, its storefront and SDK, and our support is governed by the agreement between Adverant and your organisation: the order form, the subscription terms, the service description, the data processing agreement and any service levels it includes.

The service sections below summarise the main terms of that agreement in plain words. They are not a substitute for it. If anything here differs from your signed agreement, the signed agreement applies. To ask for a copy of our standard agreement, write to hello@honestas.ai.

The service

We provide the HONESTAS platform and the related services set out in your order form and its service description, in our EU cloud or in your own data centre as agreed. The features, environments, seats and service levels that apply to you are the ones listed in your order.

We improve HONESTAS over time. A new feature becomes part of your service when we make it generally available to you, and we will not remove a feature you rely on without notice under your agreement.

Your data and your models

You keep all rights in your data, your records and your models, and in the AI provider accounts you connect. We get only the limited licence we need to provide the service to you.

We do not use your data to train any model. Your organisation brings its own AI provider accounts and billing, and we do not run a shared credential behind your installation. For personal data in HONESTAS, you are the controller and we are your processor, under the data processing agreement.

Evidence and export

Your sealed decision records belong to you. You can export them in full at any time, in an open, documented format, with the hashes needed to check them independently. We will not charge fees or add technical barriers whose purpose is to make that export harder.

When your agreement ends, you have the export period your agreement sets out. After it, we delete your data as the agreement and the data processing agreement require.

Availability and refusals

We run HONESTAS to the service levels in your agreement. When a required check cannot complete, for example when the second model does not agree or the signer's authority cannot be confirmed, the service holds the affected output and records a refusal with its reason. That is the service working as intended. A refusal is not downtime under any service level.

What we do not promise

We do not promise any regulatory outcome, approval, certification or assessment. HONESTAS links its records to obligations such as those in the EU AI Act, DORA, Solvency II and the GDPR. That link is evidence for you, your advisers and your auditor to weigh. It is not an assessment of your firm against those obligations, and it is not legal advice.

Decisions made with HONESTAS are your organisation's decisions, signed by your people. You remain responsible for them and for how you configure and use the service.

Using this site

You may browse, read, share links to and print pages for your own use. You must not:

  • use the site in a way that breaks the law or anyone's rights;
  • try to get into parts of the site or our systems you are not allowed into, or test them for weaknesses outside the rules on our security page;
  • send malware, overload the site, or interfere with how it works;
  • copy the site at scale with automated tools, except for search engines following our robots rules;
  • pretend to be Adverant or HONESTAS, or suggest we endorse you when we do not.

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website. We work to keep it available but cannot promise it always will be.

Our content

The text, illustrations, product screens, software and the Adverant and HONESTAS names and marks on this site belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us. Quoting short passages with credit and a link is fine. For anything more, such as reusing images, ask us first.

Screens and records on this site show sample organisations and sample data. Any resemblance to real organisations or people is not intended.

What you send us

When you send us a form or a message, you confirm the details are accurate and that you are allowed to share them. We handle them as the privacy notice describes. Please do not send confidential information or customer data through the site. If you share an idea or feedback, we may use it without owing you anything, but we will not name you without asking.

Information, not advice

This site explains what HONESTAS does and how its records relate to rules such as the EU AI Act, DORA and the GDPR. That is general information, not legal, regulatory or professional advice, and it is not an offer to contract. Dates for rules are given as we understood them when the page that states them was last updated.

Our liability

For the HONESTAS service, liability is set by your agreement. For this website, we provide it free of charge and as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from using the website or relying on its content.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep the rights consumer law gives you.

Changes to these terms

We will give your organisation written notice of any material change to the service terms before it takes effect, saying what has changed. For the website terms, the date at the top shows when they last changed, and using the site after a change means you accept it.

Law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them, except that a consumer may also bring a claim in the courts of the country where they live.
